Kingsbury Elects New President

PHILADELPHIA, PA, April 9, 2007 - The board of directors of Kingsbury, Inc. is pleased to announce the appointment of William R. Strecker to the position of President/CEO, effective May 1, 2007. The election of Mr. Strecker followed an intense one-year recruitment and evaluation process conducted by an outside professional consultancy to find the best candidate to lead the company in the future. Mr. Strecker succeeds Woods R. Brown, who has headed the company admirably since 1993. Mr. Brown will retire at the end of his term.

A graduate of Drexel University with a degree in business, Strecker joined Kingsbury as an inside sales associate in October, 1978. Over the following years, Strecker took on increasingly greater responsibilities in outside sales and marketing, and was promoted to Vice President, Sales & Marketing in January, 1994. In that position, Strecker was instrumental in expanding the company's presence overseas, particularly to China, and in coordinating an expansion of the company's sales representative networks.

In addition, Strecker was a key player in the acquisition of new products and brands that helped to double the company's growth from 1994 to the present. During that time, Strecker also acted as COO for one of the company's acquisitions, Vibra-Metrics, Inc. of Hamden CT, for 3-1/2 years. For the company as a whole, Strecker implemented marketing strategies to target high-value business opportunities, a positioning initiative that has resulted in a stronger, more vibrant brand worldwide and an improved return for the shareholders.

Because of his role in sales, Strecker has also maintained an active involvement in day-to-day manufacturing operations to support his customers' delivery needs. Given this well-rounded experience, his intimate familiarity with the company's culture, and his appreciation for the brand's worldwide reputation in the marketplace, Strecker was elected by the board of directors to the position of president at its regularly scheduled meeting of March 5, 2007.
