Kingsbury Inks Aftermarket Service Agreement With Flender Graffenstaden

PHILADELPHIA, PA, October 26, 2004 - Kingsbury, Inc. has recently been appointed the authorized bearing repair and service organization in North America for Flender Graffenstaden gears. The contract went into effect on October 1, 2004. RTS Corporation, based in Trumbull CT, the US agent for Flender Graffenstaden, and a Kingsbury authorized representative, organized the relationship to expedite service quality and turnaround for its North American customers.

"In terms of reputation, technical ability, and engineering, we knew Kingsbury was the answer," stated Dennis Rotunno, president of RTS Corporation. "What cinched the deal was Kingsbury's responsiveness. If one of our customers' bearings goes out, the downtime cost is extraordinary. Kingsbury has proven that they can respond with a repair, retrofit or replacement within days, if necessary. In fact, their normal service turnaround takes weeks off an otherwise lengthy process, particularly if a bearing were required to be shipped back to Europe for inspection and repair."

RTS Corporation will coordinate its customers' repair and service needs with Kingsbury. Depending on the circumstances, Flender Graffenstaden may perform an on-site inspection first to determine the best course of action. In those cases for which a bearing repair is indicated, Kingsbury is well positioned - and authorized under the agreement - to perform service on any competitive brand as well as on its own line of flooded, Leading-Edge Groove (LEG®) or proprietary bearings.
