Notice on Kingsbury operations during COVID-19 pandemic – March 23, 2020

Kingsbury, Inc. is a key supplier for critical end-markets. The March 19, 2020 statement from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security provides guidance for critical infrastructure sectors and the essential workforce needed for continuity of services. It identifies essential workforce as "necessary for the manufacturing of materials and products needed for medical supply chains, transportation, energy, communications, food and agriculture, chemical manufacturing, nuclear facilities, the operation of dams, water and wastewater treatment, emergency services, and the defense industrial base."

Kingsbury, Inc. is committed to the health and safety of our employees, our customers, and our supply-chain. We seek to follow or exceed the health guidelines related to the COVID-19 situation. We are acting in accordance with all Federal, State, and Local restrictions and directives, and will continue to do so. At this time, any operational restrictions have included the definition of essential businesses expected to remain open, with the proper safety measures in place, and Kingsbury’s business is included within this definition.

In recognition of our special responsibility, Kingsbury will continue operations at its facilities in support of the critical infrastructure supply chain. Any job functions that can be performed remotely have been moved away from office locations to comply with the suggestions or directives provided by health and government entities. Kingsbury’s operations are considered essential in support of the critical infrastructure of the nation; we are proud to serve that role to the best of our abilities during this time of crisis, and will do so while maximizing the health and safety of all of our stakeholders.
