NEW DESIGN GUIDE FOR LOW-PROFILE LEG® THRUST BEARINGS

PHILADELPHIA, PA, October 22, 2001 - Kingsbury, Inc. has recently completed the production and release of a comprehensive design guide for its new line of low-profile LEG thrust bearings. The LEG SlimLine bearing is a fluid-film-type thrust bearing designed with 6, 8 or 11 shoes, in sizes from 92 mm to 457 mm. The new equalizing bearing incorporates Kingsbury's patented Leading Edge Groove (LEG®) lubrication technology to lower frictional losses and lube oil requirements while also reducing oil film temperatures – features which contribute to overall installation economy.
