Fixed Profile Journal
Kingsbury offers a standard line of plain journal fixed profile bearings in addition to our proven tilting pad design. KN thick-walled metric bearings are babbitt-lined and designed for pressure oil-lubricated rotating machinery such as turbines, pumps and gears. Machinery typically operates at sliding speeds of 5 m/s to 90 m/s with a power range of 1 MW and higher. A wide variety of sizes and proportions are available in shaft sizes of up to 710 mm. Standard designs can be customized for individual applications to suit any shaft size. For shaft sizes above 710 mm, bearings are custom made to your specifications. Kingsbury will also manufacture bearings to customer supplied drawings and specifications.
