Thrust Ball Bearings are separable and easy to mount in applications subjected to purely axial loading. Single direction bearings, with one ball and cage assembly, can accommodate axial loads in only one direction. If there are axial loads acting in both directions a double direction Thrust Ball Bearing can be produced. Either configuration can be supplied with an aligning feature on the housing washer to compensate for initial misalignment.
